How To Join
The Young Farmers is run by young people for young people.

WHO CAN JOIN?

Anyone, male or female between the ages of 14-26. If you are over the membership age, you can become an associate member until the age of 30 , and still remain in your club and compete in competitions. Remember: You don't have to be a farmer to be a Young Farmer!

HOW DO I JOIN?

On the website there is a page called contacts and this gives a list of the committee members including their contact details. Please do not hesitate to contact any of them and they will be pleased to help you out and get you involved! Most of the activities are based in the rural areas. If you would like transport to any event please contact your nearest committee member.

IS THE YFC FUNDED OR DO I HAVE TO PAY?

In terms of yearly membership fees, costs are £15 pounds for new members and a £25 for current members. The clubs earn nothing from these as all membership funds are sent to SAYFC to cover insurance and administration costs.

The YFC movement is funded by grants from well known companies and organisations and by the fundraising efforts of the members themselves.
